Cacao and Chocolate Tasting 🍫☕
Come refine your senses as a chocolate connoisseur, and enjoy lots of great chocolate! Sample eight different chocolates from five local chocolatiers in the northern Amazon region near Huaca Montegrande. Plus try four different varieties of pure cacao from that region and other parts of Peru. Learn about and experience the subtle flavor profiles of different varieties of cacao!

Dinner will be served! A delicious chicken or vegetarian taco bar is included featuring Bon Bon's Nook's signature gluten-free cassava tortillas!

Learn about and see behind the scenes photos of the oldest known archeological site in the Americas where Cacao relics up to 6000 years old have been found! Discover the fascinating story of this ancient temple site that is revolutionizing what we know about ancient civilizations!

Cacao Ritual & Ecstatic Dance 💃✨(8-11pm)
Before moving our bodies in ecstatic dance to close our evening, we will join together in a simple ritual to connect with and honor Huaca Montegrande, our ancestors and our own hearts, with the loving medicine of Cacao. With live sound and song, this moment will be an opportunity for more intentional connection with Cacao, as well as gratitude, reflection, prayer for this special Solstice moment in the darkest time of the year. Then, we celebrate in dance!!
